ESCAPE BORED Vol.1
In December 2013, Montreal-based artists Wolfe Girardin and Charles Lemoyne curated and produced their first ever art exhibit: ESCAPE BORED Vol. 1.
19 used skate decks were revamped and repainted by 10 local artists and displayed at Chez Boris (5151 Av. Du Parc, Montreal) for a month.
The work was eclectic and refreshing; with varied styles and techniques coming from young emerging artists with backgrounds in graffiti, street art, painting and illustration.

Most of the artists were first-time exhibitors.
The opening on December 12th was an immense success, with over 100 people attending! And of course, after witnessing the popularity of the first ESCAPE BORED exhibit, a Volume 2 is in the works and will be announced soon!
